Sunday School at St Margaret's Church

Who we are

St Mark’s is a parish church in the village of Dunham Town , Altrincham, Cheshire in the United Kingdom. We are one of two parishes in the benefice of Dunham Massey part of the Diocese of Chester and the worldwide Anglican Communion.

We are a diverse group of people from all walks of life, all ages and various cultures. We enjoy worshipping together and following our own spiritual path through the nuts and bolts of daily life.

We share in all kinds of activities; worship, sunday school, social activities, concerts, weddings, baptisms, funerals, study groups, , fellowships to name but a few.

Our desire is to be an open place of encouragement and affirmation for all who come through our doors. Whether you are a regular church member , an occasional attender or a ‘first timer’ your support is most important to us.

We take the bible seriously, and try to understand it in the light of our experience and our diversity. We seek to the Bible in the light of that same experience and diversity, and of what this age knows and biblical writers could not know.

Our beautiful little church building stands in the middle of the village. It is a place of nourishment for people from the village and from other more urban parts of Manchester.

We are conveniently situated just off the A556 the main thoroughfare into Manchester.
