Sunday School

Children play a vital part in the life of our church.

Sunday School meets on the third Sunday of each month and caters for all ages. The children come to church and join the main congregation for the first hymn. They then leave for their classes and return at the end. Children are invited to the front to show the congregation what they have been up to in Sunday School that day

On the first Sunday of each month we have our ‘all age’ worship. The idea is that people of all ages from 0 – 90 will find something for themselves in the service.

Children play a part in most of our activities at St Mark’s. From family fun days at Red House Farm to the Christmas Crib Service to Elvis nights at the Axe and Cleaver we hope they feel at home and relaxed in our community (this means parents will be relaxed too we hope!)
