Bike Blessing

St Mark’s is hosting the first ever Motorcycle Blessing this April.

Motorcyclists from all over the North West will ride to the church at the beginning of the riding season to have their bikes blessed. Choppers, tourers, cruisers, scooters, sports bikes, scramblers of all makes and marques are due to join together for a fantastic parade through the village to the church for blessing.

The church has sponsored special prayer cards carrying the ‘bikers prayer’ alongside the presentation of ‘Bikers Bibles’.
A moments silence will precede the parade in memoriam.

The whole thing has a St George’s day theme with prizes for best bike, best knight and best dragon.

The Bike Blessing will also be passing all proceeds to the Children’s Society to support runaway children in Manchester.
