Fundraising at St Margaret's church

Fundraising

Maintaining our place of prayer and the development of our church community and ministry is a costly business.

In 2003 we signed off £464,000 of repairs to the East end of church and still need to spend £400,000 to fully restore the rest of the building. That only accounts for fabric repairs without paying any bills!

Part of the answer is in fundraising.

We have a lively set of events that take place on a rolling programme throughout the year. See the Calendar page for regular updates or Email one of our social committee members.

St Margaret’s famous Car Boot Sales that take place on the first May Bank Holiday and on August Bank Holiday are particularly popular.

We also run concerts, socials, coffee meetings, fairs, theatre trips to mention a few.
