Rev Jerry Sutton TD CF was inducted into the parish of Dunham Massey in 2001.

He was ordained in 1986 having trained at Ridley Hall Cambridge. He served two curacies in Seacombe and in Northwich. His first incumbency was in the Birkenhead Priory Parish, he then spent seven years at St Chad, Over before his appointment to Dunham Massey.

He is a committed parish priest who is most at home in this vocation.

Jerry has a long involvement with church schools and is presently Chair of Governors of Altrincham Church of England Aided School.

His ministry outside the parish is as Padre to the 4th Battalion the Parachute Regiment with whom he has served in UK and on operations for 20 years.

He is also a Freeman of Altrincham Chaplain to the Barony of Dunham Massey and to Cheshire Constabulary.

Jerry is married to Sharon. Children Andrew, Bethany, Aaron and Harriet keep things busy around the vicarage.

Motorcyles are important in the Sutton household; Jerry Rides a Harley Davidson Wide Glide and Sharon a Street Bob.
